Kamba Sita

Born in 1975 in Kinshasa in Congo (DRC), he completed his arts studies at ENAM, École des Beaux Arts in Libreville, Gabon in 1999. He has lived in Montreal since 2006, nourishing himself from an environment teeming with cultural diversity and various modes of artistic creation.
The universe of Kamba Sita is a world filled with shades of burnt umber, warm and fragrant colors, invoking its African origins.
Sita uses a mixed technique on canvas or plywood; he always begins most of his paintings by creating the background in a play of textures by superpositions combining shapes and reliefs… Once satisfied with the background, he can finally harmoniously integrate the characters according to the movements or the expressiveness of their faces, giving a figurative style while giving free rein to the imagination through the abstract nature of the background.
Kamba Sita’s artistic career has allowed her to exhibit in different cities including Paris, Chicago, Montreal, Calgary, and in his early days in Libreville.

Tina Cartier

Originally from Montreal, Tina Cartier lives and works in the greater Montreal area. After studying the arts at UQAM and Concordia University, she focused her approach on mixed techniques, inspired by the experiences of her life, street art, and Pop culture. Fascinated by the arts world, it was only in 2018 that she presented her works to the public; “The Theory of she”, her first solo exhibition reflects on the feminine subject, sensual and assumed, the woman represented by a woman in an environment appropriated by the man. In the same year, she received the public prize at the Montréal en Art Festival and a cover for the magazine Home Design. In 2019 she entered the gallery and flew to London for the Parallax art fair, as well as other participatory exhibitions in Miami, Florence, Berlin, and Zurich. Since then, her artistic signature has been recognized internationally as well as on the small screen.
